Everything you could need

‘Ballat Smithy is a very well appointed cottage – a home away from home with everything you could need to make your holiday enjoyable. From the welcome food package waiting on your arrival to the plentiful supply of towels, games, books and general household items – all you have to do is arrive, relax and start your holiday!
The cottage is on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park so is ideally placed for exploring all the areas of natural beauty around it, as well as really close to Stirling (the William Wallace monument is worth a visit), Falkirk (the Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies are definitely worth a visit) and even Glasgow if you want a big city.
Anne is so friendly and welcoming and if we return to this area of Scotland we will definitely stay again!’

Perfect cottage in a beautiful location

‘Just returned home from a lovely week staying in Ballat Smithy Cottage. Very good value for money. We found the cottage very comfortable and were surprised at all the little extras: welcome food pack, wifi, DVDs and books, charger adapter plug, vanity unit in the main bedroom, washing machine and detergent.
We found the beds very comfortable, the bathroom very clean and instant hot water whenever we wanted it.
The cottage is situated in an ideal position for exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs and also in easy reach for Stirling, Glasgow and the Highlands. We enjoyed exploring the little villages nearby and recommend Drymen for eating out.’
